CHAMELEON TARZAZ

Calumna Tarzan, this is one of the newest species of chameleon discovered on the island of Madasgascar that was first described vezem 2010. Its name is a tribute to the character of the jungles of success in film: Tarzan. This species was discovered east of Madagascar by Malagasy biologists and Germans.

The situation of this animal is considered critically endangered, since this species live in an area of about square kilometers. The chameleons are oviparous reptiles, insectivores and diurnal. The Tarzan chameleon in danger of extinction, as well as 22 other species of reptiles, because the forests are being felled in Madagascar. The chameleon called Tarzan in this RED LIST, which indicates the hundred animals with the highest risk of extinction in the world.
